Athlete of the Month - St. Jean de Brébeuf

Rommel is the starting point guard and leading scorer for the Senior Boys’ Basketball team at SJB. He played very well in December and the highlight of the month was the team’s tournament victory a the Chancellor Tournament at STM on December 14th.

SJB defeated a strong Cardinal Newman team in the championship game, and Rommel made two 3 point shots in the final 30 seconds, including a buzzer beater for a 1 point victory. For his excellent play, Rommel was awarded the tournament MVP.

As a grade 11 student, Rommel has a bright athletic future ahead of him.
