Austin Talosi is a worthy recipient of the September Athlete of the month at SJB. Austin was the only grade 9 player named captain in 2015. Austin was instrumental in making sure that the off-season workouts were a huge success. Austin's leadership helped the team through August training camp. The dedication showed in our controlled scrimmage played on Sept. 16th at STM. Our only game in September was played on the 30th. The Braves defeated the Bishop Ryan Celtics 26-13. Austin led the way with a rushing average north of 5 yards per carry and several crushing blocks and tackles throughout the game. The Braves host a playoff game this week versus those same Celtics. Austin Talosi is one of the main reasons why the Braves finished as one of the four teams lucky enough to host a playoff game.
