Contest invites students to name Hamilton Paramedic mascot

Hamilton Paramedic Service is hosting a contest to name their new mascot, a husky pup.

A stuffie of this husky pup will be given to children in medical situations to help them feel less afraid when they require an ambulance. The husky pup will also be used by paramedics to teach children about staying healthy and safe when they visit schools and go to community events.

But there’s one problem: the husky pup doesn’t have a name.

Can you think of one?

The winning entry will become the husky’s name. This name will be printed on the shirt of all the stuffies that are given out.

To participate, all you have to do is colour the husky pup on the attached colouring sheet, print your idea for a name in the box, and then return the page by June 15th.

Instructions are on the back of the colouring sheet.
