Summer Catch-up Clinics for Grade 7-12 students

Hamilton Public Health Services will offer catch-up summer vaccination clinics for students currently in grades 7 to 12 who missed their vaccines due to school closures during the pandemic emergency. These catch-up clinics will provide eligible students the opportunity to receive missed vaccines at one location. Student will have their vaccination record assessed at the clinic visit and can receive their first, second or third doses as required at these clinics.

This vaccination series protects youth in our community from:
• Hepatitis B (Hep B)
• Meningococcal ACYW-135
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
• Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap)
For additional information about the clinics and to book an appointment online, please visit www.hamilton.ca/schoolclinics.

The Meningitis and Tdap vaccinations are required under the Immunization of School Pupils Act and students that are behind on these vaccinations are at risk of exclusion from school in outbreak situations and/or due to lapsed vaccination records.
